Polynesian Gods Concept Stage - 3 Projects

Productions of my first year internship in June 2021.
There were 3 different Sponsors during this internship:
-An animation project for a young audience (in collaboration with other trainees) - Request for Character Concepts
-An animated series project for young adults (in collaboration with other interns) - Request for Character and MoodBoard Concepts
-A design proposal for a character that serves as a transition scene in a show
I am not very familiar with Polynesian culture but it was interesting to learn about it and try new things.

Antagonist for the mature series, despite the divergent opinions asking for a more massive and raw look, I favored a more agile and manipulative vision since he is the god of thieves, traders and the hero of certain myths.

MoodBoard for the animated series for young adults, I thought that taking inspiration from Princess Mononoke would be interesting, an epic, cultural, fantastical and at times violent story.
